We want young people and their families to win in 2010! Once again we have our
running shoes on with our launch of Project Success part of the "YNIA" (Youth Now In
Action)Coalition to the four corners of San Antonio and surrounding counties.
Over
the course of this year, we are working with and motivationg teens ages 17-19 discover new
venues of achieving their goals and launching their careers.
 We are continuing our
combined CEY Partnership effort to
host another Youth Conference. Removing the Mask,
held at Davis Middle School was a  huge success last summer and we hope to grow it
bigger and better this year.

April is  Child Abuse Prevention Month and we are starting months in advance to
accomplish prevention events and the actual combined
National Day of Prayer, Blue
Sunday.
We are always looking for volunteers and participants for these events, so feel free
to contact us.  Once again
Covenant Community Church and Thousand Oaks Baptist
Church are combining forces to host the Blue Sunday event at Driscoll Middle
School. We want to continue to encourage all of you
to join us & show your support by
praying for families and children across our nation.

Music, music, music sponsored by SICYC, Inc & Company presents " An Evening of
Jazz", May 28, 2010, 7-11pm at Villita Assembly Building.
 We are really excited about
this opportunity to showcase the fine arts this year and our
very special guest.  Tickets will
go on sale for this event in
January 15, 2010.

Toastmasters, parenting, life skills,
financial, nutrition classes to prevent diabetes and youth
re-entry programs
remain available at the Inspiration Center in 2010.  These services are
available for the remainder of the
school year for young people wanting to sharpen their
speaking skills, learn more about their bodies and just need help making their transition back
into their respective communities. We're thrilled to have as our new partner
JOYKEEPER,
Inc,
as well as our CEY Partners, St. Mary's University, Covenant Community,
Northeast Baptist and Resurrection Baptist Churches
join us in this exciting time to
empower young people for success and thus reducing gang activity, youth violence and child
abuse.

We're still working on a major Youth Empowerment Conference too, but that's still under
construction for Spring Break, so stay tuned! We are looking forward to the wonders,
miracles and blessings that God, our Father, has in store for us in the second half 2009. We
recognize that all of our help comes from Him and those who allow Him to direct their hearts.
As we continue our mission to meet every felt need of a child, while restoring the fabric and
foundation of the family, we ask that you pray for us and give towards this cause. Remember,
it's not about any of us, but all about Him!
